Your beauty routine should change from season-to-season. Reality is that many do not change things up due to getting stuck in a routine. Having a baby threw my hair and skin through a loop, and having the season change simultaneously really did a number. I have been focusing on improving my hair and skin game. Below are what I found this last month and a half to be the best spring skin & hair products.
Fractionated coconut oil is great for many different uses. It is different than regular coconut oil in that it is already liquified due to having some triglycerides removed. It absorbs into your skin easier. Radha’s Fractionated Coconut Oil worked really well as a lip conditioner and shaving oil. You can also use as a massage oil. I mixed it with lavender and use it on my feet before bed.
Soapbox is an awesome product. For each product purchased, Soapbox provides a month worth of water to a community in need. Plus, it is only $5 a bottle! My hair feels super healthy after using the shampoo and conditioner. I can even let it air dry and have it look great.
Okay. I know this is a “mom product,” but hear me out. Yes, I use it for breastfeeding, but when we were out the other day I couldn’t find my lip balm. I read on the back of the butter that I could use it on dry skin and though–hey, why not?! A little bit goes a long way, and it seriously moisturized my lips. I love this brand, overall. They make high quality products. I have probably five different Earth Mama Angel Baby products, and they go unrivaled.
My sis loves argan oil. I tried Radha’s and am genuinely impressed. Pretty much anything you can use coconut oil for, you can use also use argan oil. I decided to use it on my hair as a treatment on my stretch marks–big difference people! I feel like my skin is healing and the ends of my hair are well sealed.
Okay. I know this product has been around for a while. This moisturizer is light weight. I have combo skin, and this product works great. It is lightweight. For the mornings where I need a quick routine (gratis my newborn’s needs), I mix this moisturizer with my CoverFX concealer.
I’ll be real in saying that I look exhausted. My adorably sweet baby boy does not have a sleep schedule conducive to a healthy adult sleep schedule–and that is okay! However, I need a little help with the purple bags under my eyes. I have been using this eye gel day and night, and I’m really seeing a difference. It smells mildly of cucumber. Also, it doesn’t ball up when I apply other product on top of it. This is my favorite product that I have tried over the last month and a half. You can get 25% off of this product till June 26 by using the code LHADD4OY at checkout!
It’s best to continue moisturizing even though the harsh winter weather is over. Eye gel is not overrated, and your hair probably needs some TLC after the cold winter months.
