I am honestly writing this at 6 AM. I am exhausted considering that I have been up since 2:30. Reality is that pregnancy is really, really hard. Still, I am happy. Every time I feel baby boy kick I can’t help but to smile and feel the need to say hi to him. We finally have a real due date that isn’t changing anymore (since there were issues before getting pregnant, this was hard to determine. This baby is set to arrive March 28, 2015. HALLELUJAH. This means, as of yesterday, we are in double-digit days till we meet our little guy. I am over-the-moon excited to tell him to his face that I love him.
Plus, we reached viability this week. This means that if something bad happens, he will be taken care of and will very likely survive. Our hospital is very good with early deliveries, as well. They have a Level 3 NICU–whatever that means. 🙂
Here are a few pregnancy details.
Bean burritos–I am only alive because of bean burritos. I’m not okay with red sauce though. Otherwise, I will eat anything and everything. I cannot get enough. I eat all day long. If I see chocolate, it is all over till I get some.
Tomatoes & ground beef (don’t even ask me to touch it)
1. It’s cooler, so I am not overheating as often.
2. The end is in sight!
3. I finished the semester strong–for both my own grad classes and the classes I was teaching. I’m grateful to be through my first year of graduate school.
1. Nothing fits.
2. Sciatica. Holy wow.
3. I am starting to not sleep. I love sleep. I miss sleep.
Currently Living In:
Leggings and fuzzy socks. When I have to leave the house, I throw on a sweater and leather boots with my leggings. I waddle super hard now thanks to the sciatica, so heels are out of the question; I look ridiculous!
Looking forward to:
Going home in a week! My mom and sisters are throwing me a shower, and I am so excited to see my family. I am looking forward to having access to more maternity clothing stores.
Spiders and protecting the baby. I’m grateful that the axe murderer dreams are over (I wish I was kidding about that one). Two nights ago, I dreamt that after I tried killing a black widow and its legs were off, it started flying and chasing me. I am also dreaming about the day that I get to meet this little boy. Ninety-eight days!
